
Next month, the #kNOwKnifeCrime campaign is joining forces with Cash for Kids, alongside primary and secondary schools across Sefton as the Sefton Schools say #kNOwKnifeCrime
Here’s a snapshot of what’s happening:
- W/c 15th April: Over 35,000 primary and secondary school children from Sefton will be participating in the London mini marathon virtual event, aiming to complete 2.6 miles in each school and raise funds for Knife Savers bleed control kits.
- Wednesday 17th April: A total of 1680 children from Sefton’s schools will unite for a relay race covering 82 miles across the borough, symbolizing solidarity against knife crime and fundraising for vital Knife Savers bleed control equipment.
- Saturday 20th April: 54 representatives from Southport Learning Trust will proudly participate in the official televised London mini marathon.
- Sunday 21st April: 7 dedicated #kNOwKnifeCrime campaigners, including Christina Greaves Director of Primary Southport Learning Trust and Headteacher of Kew Woods Primary in Sefton, Michelle Palmer SENDCO of Holy Family Catholic High School (Sefton LA) Elaine Oliver Business Manager at IMPACT (Sefton LA) will be participating in the London Marathon, further highlighting our commitment to combating knife crime.
