#kNOwKnifeCrime campaign teams up with Cash for Kids and Southport Learning Trust

Cash for Kids, Southport Learning Trust and the #kNOwKnifeCrime campaign have teamed up to create a positive impact on communities throughout Sefton whilst taking on the ultimate running challenge!

Each school from the trust took part in a relay event which involved running from one school to another carrying a Knife Savers bleed control kit.

Students ran from Bedford Primary School in Bootle to Maghull High School in Maghull then onto Kew Woods Primary School in Southport. Once the runners arrived in Southport they ran around the town visiting Meols Cop High School, Stanley High School and Birkdale High School.

The total amount raised is £5,281 which is being spent on Knife Savers kits that will be donated to communities across the borough.
